Changing the jets on a Triumph with Keihin carbs

1 - Drain the carburetor bowl using the drain screw located at its lowest point.

3 - Once the carburetor bowl is opened, the jet is visible beneath the float. |

4 - Remove the diffuser using an 8 mm open-end wrench. Be careful not to drop it! |

 |
5 - Reinstall the nozzle located at the end of the diffuser. 6 - Reassemble everything by following the same instructions in reverse order, then repeat the process for the second carburetor. |
Idle jet
The stock idle jet is size 40; replacement is not necessary unless the engine has undergone significant modifications, in which case a size 42 jet is recommended.
