The intake to the air box of your Twin Triumph is restricted by a 2-part plastic construction (an elbow and a restrictor), whose main purpose is to allow the bike to pass the certification standards by limiting the amount of air going into the engine.
Our "bellmouth" intake bracket is a direct replacement of the original restrictor, a change-over that only takes a few minutes but will give your engine up to 32% more air (the opening is 56x81 mm against 48x73 mm from the factory). This is the easiest way to give life to your bike without getting into removing the airbox (see our KIT002 kit).
"Bellmouth" in cast alloy, hand-polished then anodized black for a durable finish.
We recommend also to a high-performance K&N air filter. Please note on America and Speedmaster : the filter is vertical in the bike and the bellmouth increases the risk of water entry in heavy rain or jet-wash situations. We only recommend it for "dry use" !
Carburetor bikes : slightly bigger jets will help towards better engine breathing, see our part number NHY011) for details.
EFI motorcycles : the engine management system will recognize the increased air supply and adapt its parameters. If the rest of the bike is standard, no need to change the mapping, you will get slightly increased performance.
