Not suitable for Thruxton 1200/R, Bobber, Speedmaster 1200, Speed Twin 1200 nor Scrambler 1200 - these bikes have specific swingarms that will not accept the tensioner.
Description
Complete kit to lift the rear-end of the above models by 36mm, including riser blocks, dress kit and chain tensioner.
Risers machined from solid alloy, black anodized for a perfect and durable finish.
Triumph has equipped the Twins 900/1200cc of 2016+ with a quasi-perfect chain geometry: the swingarm is in alignment with the pinion-rear wheel axis, so that the up/down movements of the rear wheel have little effect on the tension of the chain.
However, if you raise the back of the motorcycle, this alignment is disturbed and the chain takes stress, reducing its life span and weakening the front sprocket bearing. Our tensioner ensures a constant tension in the chain, regardless of the position of the rear wheel.
The tensioner does not require any specific maintenance, its roller is lubricated by the chain.
