So TEC designed and patented (UK copyright number 6189349) a better one, using alloy pressure-cast main parts and bushed bearings where the factory equipment is made of bent sheet metal and dry junctions.
- the linkage has been moved on top (a straight movement always works better than an angled one, and this removes it from road projections)
- the heel pad has been deleted (most people find it annoying more than helpful)
- two positions for the foot peg depending on your shoe size
- all hardware is stainless steel
Supplied with two foot peg options:
- turned alloy
- rubber tipped
Designed as a direct replacement for the original shifter, no drilling required.
Design and fabrication by TEC in Great-Britain.
